The AT-43 rulebook introduces the universe and rules of AT-43. It is divided into two main parts.

The first part presents the history of Ava and the four armies at war forty three years after the Trauma, it also introduces factions for each army that will be developed in future dedicated publications.

The second part details all the game rules. There is a section dedicated to each of the game phases and all the important rules are gathered into thematic chapters – shooting, close combat, etc. This second part also contains six exclusive missions usable with any AT-43 army.

The appendixes contain a glossary of game terms, as well as gaming aids to help players use the rules in game. The appendixes also contain exclusive excerpts from the dedicated publications for the White Stars of the U.N.A. and for the Therian Project.

The LATCS (Light Anti Tank Combat Strider) Fire Toad recon striders are the backbone of the armored vehicle platoons of the White Stars armies. They are used as assault units accompanying the infantry, or as support units to suppress concentrations of enemy fire.

The White Stars’ Fire Toad, equipped with two light laser cannons, is a dreadful machine that can tear through infantry and armoured vehicles alike. The MK.04 in winter camouflage, is typical of the striders used by the U.N.A. of the frozen fields of Élysée.

With a wide selection of weapons to choose from, this recon strider can be easily reconfigured to face any enemy. This recon strider can be reconfigured as a Lancelot, a mobile artillery strider, a Light Prince, a versatile combat strider, or an Iron Rain, an antipersonnel combat strider.

Mentor Freezer is an officer and a hero of the Karman army. In a game of AT-43 he can become the officer of any Kaptar or Anakonga unit. He offers the units he joins the all the usual advantages of a regular officer but wither greater hand to hand fighting skills thanks to his two super J-grips. These are just as efficient against armored vehicles as they are against soldiers thanks to their “Jammer” ability.
