Only the most expert Engineers have the range of skills needed to make a proper cannon. They can be made quickly in brass, of course, with a simple mould and a wooden frame, but sooner or later they will crack like the shoddy things they are. Only a master can make a gun from steel because only a master can make the machines and tools that will make the cannon.
The Dwarf Cannon boxed set can be used to construct either a Dwarf Cannon or an Dwarf Organ Gun.
