Conflux is the second set in the Shards of Alara block for Magic: the Gathering. In it, it is revealed that a sinister force is conspiring to reunite Alara. As this process begins, planes of reality begin to overlap, creating chaos on all five Shards of Alara. Conflux expands on the mechanics introduced in Shards of Alara, and injects even more powerful gold cards into the block.

Conflux features 145 black-bordered cards (10 Mythic Rare, 35 rare, 40 uncommon, 60 common).

Eventide is the second and final set in the Shadowmoor block. The setting for Eventide is the dark world of Shadowmoor, but this time with even more twisted and bizarre creatures. Eventide also expands on the popular "Hybrid Mana Cost" mechanic, and introduces new mechanics that compliment the themes presented in Shadowmoor.

Eventide introduces 180 new black-bordered cards; 60 rcommon, 60 uncommon and 60 rare.

Conflict continues in the world of Lorwyn as mighty races find common ground – and power – by forming new tribes based on their classes.

Morningtide will expand upon Lorwyn flavor and theme by focusing on at least five classes (Soldiers, Shamans, Wizards, Warriors, and Rogues) in addition to the eight races of Lorwyn (Kithkin, Merfolk, Faeries, Elementals [Flamekin and Greater], Goblins, Giants, Treefolk, and Elves).

The three new mechanics are named Prowl, Reinforce, and Kinship.
