The Warriors of the Apocalypse march from their stronghold deep within the icy wastes of Krond, intent upon wreaking death and destruction upon the realms of The Ward and The Cyclean Empire. At the very front of their attacks are the Corrupters - foul creatures infected with the most unthinkably horrific diseases known to man.

Armed with huge double-handed weapons, they smash great holes through enemy armour in order to expose them to the great clouds of noxious fumes and infection. These great units of pestilence are headed by champions, musicians and standard bearers who impose a sense of order to the massed ranks of rotting warriors.

Corrupters are elite troops who are infected with disease and pestilence - they spread all manner of disease and decay unto their foe. They are armed with two-handed weapons which easily break through even the heaviest of armour, so that the wearer inside is exposed to their foul influence.

The harpies of Apocalypse are normally used as spies by Cael Lord of Apocalypse. Its origin is uncertain but it is said that they are the result of children abducted from their caddle and tormented for years becoming these winged horrors.

In battle harpies of Apocalypse are the perfect troop to harass the enemy from above stealing their banners or to attack the crews of war machines.

Warriors arrived from different Dwarven clans march to war united in regiments. To honor his lineage each of these warriors always carries his shield with the emblem of his clan. Because of that the Dwarven clan warriors are commonly known as Shields.

The banner top of these regiments will display each of the emblems of the different clans that form the regiment.

The Ironshields is the name given to the regiments formed by the veteran warriors of the Dwarven clans.

The Avatars of War Dwarf Ironshields blister pack contains 21 Dwarf Veteran Clan Warrior models armed with hand weapons and shields.

Blister pack also includes 21 plastic bases.
